Can I give it up for D’Arcy Corden for the numerous Janets we got at the end of The Good Place this week? With a dash of how fun Maya Rudolph is as The Judge.

My pick this week is Marina Squerciati for her portrayal of Kim Burgess on Chicago P.D.. At the start of the episode, we see her being her bad ass self in action in a chase scene. She gets caught in a fence but keeps running. Once the offender is caught, she gets checked out at Med and is told she is pregnant. The father is ex fiance and colleague Ruzek. While she knows she wants kids someday, now is not the right time with her career. She has every intention of following through with an appointment but a case she is working on involving a missing child has her rethinking her decision by the end of the episode. We saw lots of different sides to Burgess this episode – bad ass officer, gentle trying to reassure a traumatised victim, determined to get justice for a victim, but the genuine honesty and uncertainty at the end of the episode where she tells Ruzek “I don’t know what it means, other than I cancelled the appointment”, is what cemented her as my Woman of the Week pick this week.
