Nominated by Lisa: Arielle Kebbel as Olivia on Midnight, Texas

Seeing Arielle explore the maternal side of her character was fascinating to watch and showed that you can be a caring mother type as well as a kick-ass strong female. She gave a great performance and had a breaking point with her vampire husband (Lem) that was heartwarming and showed her range as an actor. She was fantastic!

Nominated by Ange: D’Arcy Carden as Janet on The Good Place

D’Arcy Carden’s Janet on this week’s The Good Place was so bad ass so she’s getting my vote! I had a good laugh at Janet’s “Screw this, let’s fight!” line, and was then in awe as she kicked (demon) butt in the bar. Hell, even Eleanor was attracted to this bad ass Janet (not to be confused by Bad Place Janet who appeared at the end of that sequence).

I want to second that one! D’arcy was amazing and kickass and still funny all at the same time.
