As we head towards fall finales the performances on screen are becoming stronger and stronger. Who were our top picks for the week? Read on to find out!

Nominated by Leah: Missy Peregrym as Maggie Bell on FBI

Thank the TV Gods this show was graced with a full season pick up. Missy is 1/2 of my OTP as Andy McNally in Rookie Blue so to say I was excited she was back on a weekly show is an understatement. She has really embraced the role of Agent Bell and I look forward to seeing her do her thing every week. It’s a fine line in TV between being a badass and a bitch when you have power. She does a perfect job of portraying a slightly broken but still amazing agent.

Nominated by Cara: Bette Midler as Caprice Caoutowitz Feldman Morton on Murphy Brown

I love Bette Midler in almost any role, and this riff on her classic shtick was great. She was brassy and bold, classic Bette Midler. She breathes life into everything she’s in, and this over the top character was and is perfect for her and perfect to play the foil for the often dry comedy of Candice Bergen’s Murphy Brown.

Ange is the Girl from Oz who travelled the States. Teen dramas, rom-comedies and superhero shows are her weakness. She also loves a good crime and medical drama and probably watches more TV than she can handle... You can contact her at ange@nicegirlstv.com.
