Woman of the Week

With the Reacher on Amazon wrapping up it’s first season we want to shout out our Women of the Week picks. Which leading ladies had us captivated this week? Read on and find out!

Nominated by Leah: Willa Fitzgerald as Roscoe Conklin and Maria Sten as Frances Neagly 

We love a strong female character and this season of Reacher has been a blast! Watching Willa and Maria handle some crazy situations all while holding their own with the boys was fantastic. It’s been really great TV. We were touting Willa’s praises back in 2019 when she was one of our Rising Stars. Not to say we told you so but….we told you so. She has been a brilliant counter to the character of Reacher. She was there to bounce ideas off of, hold her own in a fight or two and gave heart to the story. Maria, while not on our radar until this show, has left a big impact. And it doesn’t seem like the impact was just on us, as the next season of Reacher will also feature Maria, with the show “jumping ahead” and using book 11 as their blueprint for next season. A book that is about Reacher’s Army unit. Maria gave a great performance as a person Reacher could confide in having been through the same military experience together.
