Hellooo summer TV and bingewatching! What have the Nice Girls been watching and whose performances have impressed them? Read on and find out!

Nominated by Ange: Christina Hendricks as Beth Boland on Good Girls.

Thanks to Netflix, I’ve spent the past week catching up on season 2 of Good Girls and how great has Christina Hendricks been this season? We saw so many different sides to Beth Boland as she went through so much – she tried to get out from crime boss Rio’s thumb only to getting sucked back in (and then hooked up with him), tried to make things work with husband Dean both at home and at work (yeah, that didn’t go down too well), did her best to be a good mom but realized that she could never go back to being the perfect PTA mom that she once was. Let’s face it, Beth got herself into a lot of sh*t this season and made a lot of mistakes and yet Hendricks made me feel for Beth and want things to work out for her whether she was being a HBIC or being vulnerable at the prospect of losing her family and empire. Hendricks was easily one of the best performers of the past television season!

Nominated by Rueben: Miranda Richardson as Madame Tracy on Good Omens.

I’ve been watching Good Omens off and on this past week. What a wild ride that one is to say the least! I have to give kudos to Miranda Richardson for her performance in the last episode as she was not only playing her character but her character’s body was also being inhabited by Aziraphale. It was amazing watch her switch back and forth between the angel and her own character.

Ange is the Girl from Oz who travelled the States. Teen dramas, rom-comedies and superhero shows are her weakness. She also loves a good crime and medical drama and probably watches more TV than she can handle... You can contact her at ange@nicegirlstv.com.
