By  |

The InBetween aired its second episode of its debut season on NBC this week, focusing on the following:

Tom and Damien enlist Cassie’s help when a mother and her young son mysteriously vanish; when suspicion turns to the woman’s husband, Cassie’s visions reveal a darker, more vengeful plot; Ed Roven returns with an offer for Cassie.

STUPID

Leah:If we are going with scary can I say that stupid Peter Rabbit song? All of the creepy!

Lisa: I think I’m going to use my stupid as scary! My goodness this show has fantastic creep factor. The villain this week, wanting to kill an innocent wife and child as revenge was scary and stupid. It is terrifying because there are people that twisted in real life.

Rueben: I have to agree with you both. That was creepy, taking that poor kid that way and draining him in that storage unit. Creepy indeed!

AWESOME

Leah: I’m with Lisa….what a great character. She has the right amount of grit and snark and awesomeness!

Lisa: Cassie is awesome! I was a little concerned about how I would like the show after the pilot episode, but this episode solidified Cassie as a strong, kick-ass leading character and I love it.

Rueben: I thought Cassie was really something in this episode, standing up to Ed Roven’s ghost and helping Tom and Damien find that boy. It’s got to be so hard for her with this visions, but what she sees definitely helps. I also liked that Cassie, with one touch of Damien’s hand, got him to open up about Sally. That explains so much of why he is in Seattle.

SO SO

Lisa: Mr. Creeptastic and his Peter rabbit song. *shiver* I just want him to go away!

Rueben: I don’t like Ed Roven either. He is just disturbing in so many ways.

YOUR THOUGHTS

Leah:I’m happy with the show so far. Good episode tonight and I’m interested to see where it all goes!

Lisa: I think this was a stronger episode and I’m still intrigued by this show. I look forward to seeing what this season holds.

Rueben: I’m intrigued enough with the show to stick around for more even with the creep factor of the ghosts who visit Cassie. What is going on with Brian, Tom’s husband. When he repeated that he hasn’t been feeling well to her twice in a matter of minutes. That made me stop to wander what’s going on with him, and then Cassie said her grandmother had dementia. I know that Cassie is more a foster child to Tom, but is she actually related to Brian somehow? I’d like to learn more about Damien’s background, and maybe get some insight into the other officers. They’re not just there to help get information for Damien and Tom.
