With the holidays barreling closer every day, there are nearly 40 movies set to air throughout November on linear TV and streaming – most of which are holiday-based – and there are plenty of viewing options ranging from period piece dramas to action adventure dramas and so much more.
From that long list of TV options, which will be posted live here at NiceGirls TV very soon, I have selected my top 20 choices for November TV and they are as follows:

* The fourth season of The Gilded Age will premiere on HBO on November 1 at 9 PM
* The second season of the Netflix drama Black Doves, starring Kiera Knightley, will premiere online on November 5
* The third season of Mistletoe Murders will premiere also on November 5 on Hallmark Channel at 8 PM
* And, the only comedy on my list, North of North will premiere its second season online on Netflix also on November 5
COMING TO AN END
The season finales of the following dramas will air during November, and I don’t want to miss them:
* VisionQuest on Disney+ on November 10
* Blue Skies on UP Faith & Family on November 19
* Outlander: Blood of My Blood on Starz at 8 PM on November 20

Out of the seven new dramas that are set to air throughout next month – all of which are on streaming – I am most anxious to watch the Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan cat-and-mouse bank heist series 12 12 12 that will debut on Apple TV on November 13.
The series will follow a disgraced FBI agent (Mackie) and an American career criminal (Dornan) as they play a zero-sum game of cat and mouse across Europe. At the center of it all is the daring, epic raid on a bank vault deep beneath the streets of Zurich.
MOVIES MOVIES MOVIES
Then, as I mentioned earlier, there are nearly 40 movies, not all of which are holiday-themed, debuting on linear TV and streaming; and out of all of those the following 12 are the ones I am curious to watch:
A Dog’s Perfect Christmas on Netflix on November 4. While I’m not a fan of film legend Dennis Quaid anymore due to his politics, I have to see this movie for the adorable basset hound, who is the real star of the movie, and the cute little Corgi, too. And, it doesn’t hurt that This Is Us hunk Milo Ventimiglia will also star along with Jennifer Tilly and Mary Steenburgen. The voice of the basset hound will be provided by Thomas Haden Church, by the way.

Heartland on Netflix on November 13. Not to be confused with the long-running Canadian family drama of the same name, this movie will feature box office star Jessica Chastain as former country star Misty Jones who leaves seclusion to search for her missing niece, an emerging musician, in Nashville. Her investigation exposes dark secrets and forces her to face her own past. CSI: NY alum Hill Harper and Tulsa King star Garrett Hedlund co-star.
Guarding Stars on Netflix on November 18. Gossip Girl alum Leighton Meester will play Hannah Brooks, a no‑nonsense bodyguard assigned to protect Hollywood action star Jack Stapleton, played by Walker and Supernatural hunk Jared Padalecki, from a stalker during his holiday visit to his family’s Montana ranch. To keep his family from worrying, Hannah must pretend to be Jack’s girlfriend, blurring the lines between duty and romance. The Way Home star Andie MacDowell and Heartland (the TV series) alum Shaun Johnston co-star.

Way of the Warrior Kid on Apple TV on November 25. Jude Hill, the young boy from the award-winning box office movie Belfast, will star as Marc, an 11‑year‑old who struggles with bullying and low confidence. He spends the summer with his injured Navy SEAL uncle Jake, played by Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt. Through a structured program called Operation Warrior Kid, Jake teaches Marc discipline, courage, and resilience—not through fighting, but through character-building and facing personal fears. Linda Cardellini plays Marc’s mom.
The Mosquito Bowl on November 25 on Netflix. I’m the first one to avoid any programming option that is too heavily laced with sports, as that is not one of my favorite forms of TV, but this period piece movie set after the attack on Pearl Harbor, and focusing on four top American football players piqued my interest after seeing the trailer, which you can see below, as this would have been a movie my late father and I would have watched together.
These real-life men enlisted in the United States Marine Corps after that horrific event in the Pacific. While preparing for the Battle of Okinawa, they played a football game that later became famous. The movie stars Nicholas Galitzine (Masters of the Universe and The Sheep Detectives), Bill Skarsgard (2017’s It and The Death of Robin Hood), Ray Nicholson (Novocaine) and newcomer Tom Francis in the lead roles.

Lastly, out of all of the Hallmark Channel movies that will be airing as part of the network’s annual Countdown to Christmas in November, I picked the following five mainly because of the cast in each one so I won’t bore you with the full synopsis of each film, as everyone pretty much knows the usual tropes used by this network for their movies.
* My Christmas Cowboy on November 13, starring Amy Acker and Luke Macfarlane
* Christmas in Blue Dog Valley on November 21, starring Erin Cahill and Andrew Walker
* Christmas Delivered on November 26, starring Autumn Reeser and Wes Brown
* Return to Santa on November 27, starring Paul Campbell and Rachel Boston
* Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True on November 28, starring Lacey Chabert and Travis Van Winkle
