Women of the Week

We’re all about female solidarity and the complexity of being human, and our latest Women of the Week picks certainly embodies these features. Read on to find out who made the cut and why!

Dollface is a show about female friendships, but it’s more than “rah rah girl power”. These four women are complicated and their relationships with each other and as a group show how our friends can bring out both the best and the worst in us. Kat, Brenda, Shay, and Esther bring authenticity, complexity, and vulnerability to each of their characters, diving beneath the stereotypes to show us each of these women in all their messy, loving, striving glory.

I’m only two episodes in, but I’m with you, Melissa! I appreciate how complex and flawed these different women are and more importantly how authentic and relatable they are. Kat, Brenda, Shay and Esther are killing it!
