Nominated by Roz: Mercedes Mason as Captain Zoe Anderson on The Rookie

I want to nominate Mercedes Mason, who played Captain Zoe Anderson, on The Rookie. This week’s episode brought trouble on Officer Nolan and Captain Anderson took all of the change in her station in stride before she was killed by a gang member in an ambush. She has been a great positive force on the show, a woman in power, and I hope we’ll see Captain Anderson well regarded going forward with this season.
