TV OBSESSIONS: Author Leanna Renee Hieber Reveals All

By  |

This is part of our new series interviewing celebrities, bloggers, and all-around-interesting-people about the TV shows that impacted them as children, young adults, and today. This week we’re talking with author Leanna Renee Hieber.

What’s the first show you remember watching? How old were you?

Doctor Who, the Tom Baker years. I was about 7. I loved The Doctor long before he was “cool” and wanted to be Romana when I grew up.

What was your favorite TV show as a child?

Doctor Who, of course. I was obsessed, you guys.

What show defined your high school and/or college years?

The X-Files. Also obsessed. And definitely that show defined the interests that factor into my books, all of which are paranormal. Plus I love a good unrequited romance…

Which current show is Must See TV for you?

I bet this will shock you… Doctor Who

If you could resurrect any TV show, what would it be?

I miss Fringe! I loved that show and I could watch Olivia, Peter, Walter and Astrid forever.
