There are so many questions raised by last week’s episode, and there’s only so much that I think can possibly be answered in one episode. Hopefully there will be answers on all of the hotter issues from the show before the second season returns.

WGN America’s “Manhattan” races to a thrilling conclusion of its 13-episode first season with a stunning cliffhanger in the finale episode, airing this SUNDAY, October 19 at 10:00 p.m. ET. In the finale, “Perestroika,” written by Sam Shaw and directed Thomas Schlamme, Frank is given a life-changing opportunity while Charlie faces a decision that could mean either the ultimate sacrifice – or the ultimate betrayal.
“Manhattan’s” season one finale comes on the heels of WGN America’s announcement this week that it has ordered a second season of the critically acclaimed original drama. Widely hailed by critics and audiences alike as one of the best new series of the year, “Manhattan” will begin production in New Mexico on season two next Spring for a 2015 debut.
“Manhattan” stars Rachel Brosnahan (“House of Cards,” “The Blacklist”), Michael Chernus (“The Big C,” “Orange Is The New Black”), Christopher Denham (“Argo,” “Shutter Island”), Alexia Fast (“Jack Reacher”), Katja Herbers (“De Storm”), John Benjamin Hickey (“The Big C,” “The Good Wife”), Harry Lloyd (“Game of Thrones”), Daniel Stern (“Home Alone,” “Home Alone 2”), Olivia Williams (“Rushmore,” “The Ghost Writer”) and Ashley Zukerman (“Rush”).
Guest starring in the season one finale are Daniel London as Robert Oppenheimer, Richard Schiff (“The West Wing”) as Occam, Christina Kirk as Rose Akley, Jonny Coyle (“Alcatraz”) as Dr. Alek Barath and Gerald McRaney (“Longmire,” “House of Cards”) as Sec. Hentry Stimson.
