STUPID
Cay: KATE! First, why was she so dumb to get caught in the first place? Why would she think the journal would just be there on the desk for the taking? Then, she gets the journal back – why did she not immediately take it to the Batcave? She could have met up with Reagan later. So stupid! She gave it up for a hook-up!
Lisa: Yes! Kate was so full of stupidity this episode. Seriously? She finally got the journal and just left it in her bag for the random hook up with Reagan? Like really? Luke has every right to be pissed at her.
AWESOME
Lisa: Mary, Mary Mary! Woo hoo! She finally got to play on the team and saved the day! My favorite part was when Luke showed her the Bat cave. Her face was priceless!
Cay: Mary was awesome as usual. It was an interesting episode because although she pulled off rescuing Kate, for much of the episode she was much more Instagram socialite than the serious med student we’ve seen lately. It had seemed like they had moved away from that part of her, but it makes a great cover for her, so I’m glad that they brought it back. Her delight at seeing the Batcave and Luke letting slip about Bruce Wayne was fun!
SO SO
Cay: I can’t believe we had more face switching!!!! Although I have to say, at least it was interesting and moved the plot forward a bit. I believe I wondered before about Reagan and why they brought her in for only one episode, seemingly just to make Sophie jealous. It was cool seeing that there was actually more to her than meets the eye.
Lisa: I agree. I will be glad when we don’t have to type the words “face switching” anymore in our roundtables, but it looks like that won’t be anytime soon. I am glad there is a little more to Reagan than just a hook up. I’m curious to see what she does next, or who her next mark is.
YOUR THOUGHTS
Lisa: Wow. This episode was action packed and sexy. This journal is a hot commodity! Who is Julia promising it to? I wonder if it will be as wanted once they find out if is written in code. That is a lot of information to decipher. I really love Mary and Luke working together and can’t wait to see more of them in the bat cave. She has proven that she is a great asset to the team.
Cay: This was a pretty good episode – there was a lot going on and a lot of subplots that had longer set-ups than usual, most of which haven’t been resolved. Definitely one that you had to pay attention to in order to keep up!
How many people know that Kate is Batwoman now? Julia does. Seems like Reagan and Magpie do. Alice does, maybe Tommy? That’s a pretty big group of people!
So, I was surprised to find out that Alice didn’t know that Bruce Wayne was Batman, but I guess Kate didn’t find out until she started hanging out at the Wayne building and found the cave and Luke. So, Alice wanted the journal before she even knew what it really was.
What’s Julia up to? Are we going to see both Kate and Sophie get played? How do so many people know about this journal all of a sudden?
