By  |

The InBetween aired a new episode on Wednesday night, and here is what the episode, entitled “Another Broken Morning,” was about:

Cassie is drawn to a young mother who needs her help and encounters young Abigail once again; Tom and Damien investigate a complicated murder that has international ramifications.

Now, please join the NiceGirls staff as they discuss the episode using our new feature SASSY: S(tupid), A(wesome), S(o) S(o) and Y(our Thoughts):

STUPID

Lisa: I don’t have a stupid moment, but I do have a stupid creepy one! OMG at the beginning when she kept hearing the baby cry, I thought “If they show a dead baby I’m out!!” *shiver* That was so creepy to me. How could anyone function while hearing a constant baby cry without knowing where the baby is. Crazy!

Rueben: For me it wasn’t so much a stupid moment, but a childish one when Abigail was throwing her hissy fits over her mother and that Cassie lied to her mother about how she felt. Sure, Abigail is a child, but her behaving that was annoying.

Leah: I’m with Rueben. I could have done with out the annoying behavior. Honestly!

AWESOME

Lisa: I loved when Abigail said, “Wake up sleepy head” and was wearing her pretty dress she was buried in that she loved. She was so cute. I like the relationship that Cassie and Abigail have. I hope Abigail finds her aunt and we get to see her again on the show.

Rueben: I liked the part where Cassie was telling Abigail about her teenage visit to the shaman and the tale of the two wolves, and how that came full circle in the final scene with Abigail stating she was going to feed the good wolf. She learned a valuable lesson, and that helped her move forward.

Leah: Sarah Abbott really is a great actress. I felt all of her emotions in this episode. I also need to get my opinions in on an episode before Lisa and Rueben or they take all of the good ones. 🙂

SO SO

Lisa: I’m still  over Tom’s hat. Please let it die and then maybe it can reappear to Cassie as a hat ghost. lol I know that was lame but I am over here cracking myself up. When they went to the boats at the end he didn’t have on the hat, but he swapped it for a beanie. ugh…I don’t know why it bothers me but it’s all I see now and I can’t help but think, “Is he going to have on that hat again?” and its always, “Yup, there it is.”

Rueben: I don’t have a problem with the hat, but that is funny, Lisa. As harsh as it was, I was nonplussed with Abigail’s mom making excuses for her abusive boyfriend. I can only imagine what that must be like, but the minute some guy would even think to lay a finger harshly on me, he wouldn’t be walking right for the rest of his life.

Leah: I never thought of that Lisa, but now it will probably be all I look at! I’m over here laughing and now I may have to go back and rewatch!

YOUR THOUGHTS

Lisa: I feel that this show gets better each week. I really enjoy the creepiness of her visions. I can’t imagine living that way. Cassie and her challenges are intriguing and keep me on my toes. I liked that we saw more of Tom’s husband in this episode. I still would like to learn more about Damien’s backstory. We shall see what unfolds next week!

Rueben: Her visions are creepy, aren’t they? And so spot on given what happened to the victim of the week – once it is revealed what happened to that victim, of course. Very cleverly done each week. I’d like to see more of Abigail moving on in the afterlife; and learn more background about Tom and his husband.

Leah: Loving this show. It really does get better each week and they are killing it metaphorically with the flashes Cassie gets.
