INTERVIEW: Sarah Abbott

By  |

We had the pleasure of interviewing Sarah Abbott. She can next be seen on the NBC show The InBetween , airing May 29th, about a woman who assists the dead with their unresolved problems. She will be playing Abigail Coleman. Sarah will also be in the highly anticipated VWars on Netflix as Amelie along side Ian Somerhalder. She has done a number of great shows including Black Mirror and on top of acting she is also a dancer. You will want to keep an eye on her career as it is just beginning.

What can you tell us about your character Abigail Coleman on The InBetween?
I really can’t say too much about her, since it hasn’t aired yet, but what I can say is that she had a rough life but is a strong willed girl and not afraid to stand up for herself. I really enjoyed playing her!

The show is based on a woman who communicates with the dead – do you believe in the supernatural?
I do believe in the after life. The thought of ghosts and spirits walking around does scare me a bit but then maybe it would be cool to actual see a ghost.

You also have a role in the upcoming VWars – what can you tell us about that?
It’s a super exciting project. I was very happy to be involved with it. I can’t wait to see the finished project. I can’t say too much because I don’t want to be a spoiler! You are just going to have to wait to see it.

You are just getting started in your career – is there someone you can’t wait to work with? The ultimate co-star?
I’ve worked with so many great co-stars already in my short career, but if I would have to pick one now, I think it would be Lili Reinhart from Riverdale. She’s a great actor and seems so kind and genuine .

Your bio says you are a strong advocate for animal rights – how did you get involved in that?
Our family has had animals in our house since before I was born. Right now I have two dogs, Angel and Jesse. Angel is a rescue dog. We also have two cats, Nugget and Sweetie. Nugget was also a rescue. Hearing the stories about the shelters just breaks my heart. I wish I could save them all. There are so many great pets at shelters waiting to be saved. I would never support buying from puppy mills.

We will be covering The InBetween at NiceGirls here so be sure to check back after the premiere on May 29th for more coverage.
