Women of the Week

Every week we nominate women from the last week in TV who were exceptional. This week we have two great women to nominate for Women of the Week.

Piper Perabo as Julia George on Notorious
Nominated by Roz: She made some tough decisions to find a missing girl, one of 600 that goes missing each day. She got her boots on the ground and did he investigating while still doing her normal producing LHL.
Seconded by Leah: I completely agree with Roz. Julia went into some questionable neighborhoods and did her own investigating to find a girl the media wasn’t focusing on.

Lauren Cohan as Maggie on The Walking Dead
Nominated by Lisa: This week’s episode was the most devastating episode of the entire show (and possibly ever on TV).
Spoiler Alert! Don’t read ahead if you haven’t seen it yet.
Ok, With the horrific death of Glenn this week, Maggie is faced with having a baby in the zombie apocalyptic world. She watched the love of her life and her unborn baby’s father get beaten mercilessly to death. It was brutal (and i need therapy).Her performance in this episode was emotional, astounding and she showed strength through the most devastating scene. Lauren Cohen gave a magnificent performance and there wasn’t a dry eye watching this episode.
