One Hour ‘I Love Lucy’ Special to Air on CBS

CBS announced today that they will air 2 episodes of “I Love Lucy” on May 17th at 8/7c. Take a walk down memory lane with the classic episode which guest starred William Holden, as Lucy and Ricky hit Hollywood in “L.A. At Last”. This is one of the funniest episodes from the series which showcased some of Hollywood’s popular celebrities of that time. John Wayne, Richard Widmark, Harpo Marx, Rock Hudson, Cornel Wilde and Van Johnson all made special 300px-Lucy_as_superman_1957appearances on the show.

In “Lucy and Superman”, Lucy tries to impersonate George Reeves as Superman for Little Ricky’s birthday party.

The special will also include additional material that hasn’t been seen since the show aired in the mid 50’s.

Liz is a wife and mother of three from the Nashville area who likes being able to discuss her favorite TV shows with adults sometimes.
