HART OF DIXIE {RECAP}: Stuck

Weird Medical Case of the Week: Brick and Rose are working together as Rose wants a mentor into the medical profession. Magnolia thinks that Rose is trying to steal her time away from Brick. Does anyone want to see Rose with a pencil in her ear thanks to Magnolia? Probably not. There’s nothing Brick can say to Magnolia about her fears, but Rose also points out that Brick might be avoiding time with Magnolia.

Town Gossip: Zoe seems to be a town matchmaker now. Brando congratulates her on how he found himself engaged. Earl also wants to date Lou Ellen, and given Zoe’s sense of self after Brando’s good news, she tries to help set them both up.

Helping Earl turns into its own makeover montage, and a date for Earl and Lou Ellen. But Earl failed to pick up Lou Ellen on time for the date. What’s going wrong now? Wade thinks that by building up the date, Earl has gone back to drinking and forgone the date. Turns out Earl didn’t drink away the time for this date, but he fell down a hill on his property. Earl, while trying not to drink, fell into it and sprained an ankle. It’s not a sprained ankle, but a broken bone and with Wade’s help, he and Zoe get the bone back in place. Earl’s fine, and maybe will go on that date when he’s out of the hospital now.

The highway sign was also defaced and during a prolonged game of table tennis between Levan and the mayor of Filmore, George figures out that the Filmore mayor defaced it to keep Filmore on top of the sign again and Levan (and Bluebell) will be top billing now.

That woman who came to talk to Wade wants to franchise the Rammer Jammer and so Wade’s moving to Atlanta while that happens.

Relationship Drama: Lemon’s grandma has set her up on the Belles and Bachelors cruise, where she can hopefully finally land the husband. Lemon wants nothing to do with it, and even trying to get Magnolia in on the project probably won’t help Lemon’s grandma.

Davis is proposing to Annabeth and Lemon catches him buying the ring. This stops Lemon’s grandma from that intervention about her lack of a husband or prospects of any husbands. As David proposes, the series of candles that Lemon had near a curtain catches on fire and sets the restaurant ablaze. Hopefully Annabeth actually says yes to the proposal.

Meatball and Lianne are also getting engaged. The whole town is falling in love, except for Wade and Zoe. They also want to use Fancie’s for some photos, and that brings the total to three couples all in one weekend.
