HART OF DIXIE: Friends in Low Places

By  |

Weird Medical Case of the Week: Joel gets a case of fire ants when he sits on Fire Ant Rock. Later at Annabeth’s party to welcome Joel, he also eats the catfish cakes fried in peanut oil and has an allergic reaction. Now he can’t feel the fire ant bites.

Gossip: The town is full of gossip about Lemon and Wade, and as Meatball overhears, there’s going to be hell to pay. At least Lavon and Zoe seem bothered by that relationship as much as Meatball is.

Wade’s determined to make his “relationship” with Lemon as real as possible, just to spite Zoe and Joel.

Brick, as all good fathers must, is annoyed with Lemon’s new relationship with Wade. Love an indignant father!

Lynly doesn’t take the one-night stand well, and Lavon’s got a murder streak headed George’s way. Lavon wants to find Lynly’s one-night stand, and starts asking George for advice. Little does Lavon know…

New, very attractive looking stranger – Carter Covington – (Ryan McPartlin) starts to charm Lemon in the general store. At least Zoe sees that and I hope she spreads that like wildfire.

Annabeth’s dinner plans to wine and dine Joel and Zoe are now adding another couple: Lemon and Carter. All the makings of an awkward dinner. Now George is inviting his way into it too. Nothing wrong could go wrong there. Wade inviting himself isn’t going to make it worse either. Of course not. Watch me roll my eyes.

Meatball ruins the party, to the surprise of no one, and everything maybe seems right again in Bluebell.

Relationship Drama: Joel’s not reacting well to the heat at all so far. Why am I not surprised that he can’t handle the day to day life of Bluebell.

Meatball and Lemon have an awkward thing: he’s disgusting just out of bed, but somehow Lemon’s still interested.

George and Lynly also share an awkward morning after, and George still doesn’t know who she is. Lavon is going to be thrilled with that. Too bad she thinks this is more than a one night stand.

The fake relationship between Lemon and Wade is getting more attention than it deserves. Especially when an eligible bachelor strolls into town.

Annabeth’s party for Joel has all the makings of grand muck-ups in waiting. Zoe’s inquisitive nature is doing wonders for the sake of Lemon and Wade.

Joel’s really sympathetic to Zoe’s story of trying to suss out Lemon and Wade.

When Lemon tells Carter that she and Wade are not dating, Carter has to tell her that his family can’t stand another scandal.

Meatball shows up drunk at the party and drunkenly tells Wade that Lemon’s cheating on Wade in front of Carter. So that ruins three relationships in the span of a few minutes, right?

Wade and Zoe have a small heart to heart about having to co-exist in town when there’s still something awkward about being together, but not.
