What has this Nice Girl’s little heart all a-twitter? The news that Ghost Whisperer’s David Conrad has joined the cast of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., that’s what! But wait, there’s more: it’s a recurring role. What?!

Though his character is being kept a huge secret, I find that I don’t really care if he just stands there and reads the newspaper for five minutes per episode. Shallow yes, but can you blame me? I’ve been a fan since the very first episode of Ghost Whisperer.

So how many of you will be tuning into S.H.I.E.L.D. this fall? Premiere date is Tuesday Sept. 24, 8|7c, on ABC.
