Nice Boy of the Week: Ian Somerhalder

With Vampire Diaries premiering last Thursday night, we thought we would indulge the dark side of the Nice Girls. What better way to do that then to crown the new vampire on the block, Ian Somerhalder, our Nice Boy of the Week.

Before being tapped to play Damon, the bad boy vampire in the new CW series Vampire Diaries, Ian became a household name as Boone on Lost. He got his first major role in The Rules of Attraction and appeared on television in Smallville, CSI: Miami, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Now and Again, and The Big Easy. In 2006 Ian starred in Pulse with Kristin Bell, and the made-for-tv movie Marco Polo that same year.

The camera certainly loves Ian and has since he was 10 years old, when he began modeling for Calvin Klein, American Eagle Outfitters, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Versace. He was the face of Guess? for two fall seasons and we feel he’s good enough to be a face on our Nice Boys Wall of Fame as well.
