Prepare for Torchwood’s The Children of Earth

Torchwood, the BBC America’s top rated series is set to return July 20, with a five part series, The Children of Earth, pitting the crew of Torchwood Cariff against the potential peril of the entire population.

The five consecutive night event will launch BBC America HD, airs from 9:00 to 10:15 PM (EDT) each night that week, with re-runs running the next day before the new episode.

This series opens with the world’s children stopping—playing, laughing, everything—before announcing, “We are coming.”

With the government fast on Torchwood’s investigation, and the past threatening to expose Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman), the team must fight to protect Earth as well as themselves against the government.

Before the premiere of The Children of Earth, BBC America will air an exclusive special on the 20th, giving small details about the Torchwood team.
