Life carries on in the wake of Sid’s death, but not without the mission taking a toll on everyone else. Especially when a new arrival comes to The Hill and shakes life up even more.

Synopsis

“Last Reasoning of Kings” – Frank grapples with haunting memories from his past and his erratic behavior gets called into question, putting his team’s loyalty to the test. Meanwhile, The Hill receives a special visitor in famed physicist Neils Bohr, whose sudden arrival sparks curiosity among the scientists – and Charlie is assigned to escort him around the compound. Elsewhere, Callie plots an escape.

“Manhattan” stars Rachel Brosnahan as Abby Isaacs, Michael Chernus as Louis “Fritz” Fedowitz, Christopher Denham as Jim Meeks, Alexia Fast as Callie Winter, Katja Herbers as Helen Prins, John Benjamin Hickey as Frank Winter, Harry Lloyd as Paul Crosley, Eddie Shin as Sid Liao, Daniel Stern as Glen Babbit, Olivia Williams as Liza Winter and Ashley Zukerman as Charlie Isaacs.

Guest starring are Daniel London as J. Robert Oppenheimer, Jefferson White as Cole “Iowa” Dunlavey, Christian Clemenson (“CSI: Miami”) as Neils Bohr, Philip Ettinger as Watts, Kyle T. Cowan as Young Frank Winter, Tailinh Agoyo as Paloma, Beth Bailey as Fay and Catherine Haun as Dot.

“Last Reasoning of Kings” was written by Tom Spezialy and Gideon Yago and directed by Paris Barclay.

Set against the backdrop of the greatest race against time in the history of science — the mission to build the world’s first atomic bomb — “Manhattan” follows the brilliant but flawed scientists and their families in Los Alamos as they attempt to coexist in a world where secrets and lies infiltrate every aspect of their lives.

“Manhattan” carries a TV-14 rating. This all-new episode of “Manhattan” airs SUNDAY, AUGUST 17 (10:00 P.M. ET/ 9:00 P.M. CT) on WGN America.
