Comic-Con 2019: Rick Gonzalez talks final season of ARROW

This year marks the final Comic-Con appearance for the cast and creative team of Arrow, founders of the Arrowverse on the CW. We caught up with Rick Gonzalez to talk about Rene Ramirez/Wild Dog and what he’ll miss about the series.

Rick said he’s always wanted Rene to fall in love. He was hopeful that it would work out with Oliver’s half-sister, Emiko, but obviously, that didn’t go well.

He said he’ll miss Rene’s energy – he is the kind of character that Rick always loved as a kid. Some of his favorite scenes have been in the crossovers where Rene gets to be all snarky with Supergirl and Flash.

The final season of Arrow premieres Tuesday, October 15 at 9/8c on the CW.
