THE GOOD PLACE Roundtable: Jeremy Bearimy

The Good Place was all new – and after that big button last week, we have many questions that need answers. Let’s see what the Nice Girls thought was SASSY about this episode:

Stupid:

Roz: It is bad that I hated Michael as someone who hunts and pecks as he types? He’s a demon, shouldn’t he know better?

Cay: The whole Jeremy Bearimy timeline was just too random and ridiculous.

Cara: For me it was the boomerang line by the cab driver. We get it. They’re in Australia.

Awesome:

Roz: I want more nihilism lectures? The show’s been staying away from it as a viable option, but I wanted more out of that part of Chidi’s lecture.

Cay: Eleanor’s description of America to the bartender, Chidi walking shirtless through the supermarket and then self-destructing in front of his students over a vat of chili.

Cara: Chidi’s breakdown was the best for me this week. Him just plowing candy into his shopping cart was such a mood for me this week.

So-So:

Roz: Michael’s cover about Team Cockroach needing protection from the FBI. Such a lame story that everyone saw through.

Cara: For me it was Jason and Tahini getting married. I don’t know what it’s setting up, but it was strange. Although, I did enjoy the tacos/marriage announcement.
