Did You Know: Hallmark Channel Version
About six years ago, I ran a short series of articles called “Did You Know,” asking our readers trivia questions about TV and movie actors.
I felt it was time to resurrect that series, and this time focus my attention on just some of the actors who appear on the Hallmark Channel in the network’s movies and TV series.
TV TRIVIA
Did you know…
that When Calls the Heart series regular Pascale Hutton appeared in an episode of the long-running The WB and then The CW sci-fi series Supernatural?
The episode entitled “The Curious Case of Dean Winchester” was from season 5 of the series, which aired in 2009 where lead characters Dean and Sam Winchester (Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki) learn a witch is running a poker game where the currency is life years versus money. Pascale played a character named Lia, who was working alongside the witch in question in the episode.
It should also be noted that Christopher Russell (The Most Colorful Time of the Year and The Secret Gift of Christmas) had a small role in that episode as well.
Did you know…
that The Way Home series lead Chyler Leigh appeared in three episodes of the long-running series 7th Heaven back in 2000?
She appeared as Frankie, a young married woman who Mary (series lead Jessica Biel) worked with at a local pizza parlor. Ironically, Chyler starred alongside Nathan West, who was playing her small screen husband, but who also became her real-life husband.
Did you know…
that When Calls the Heart actor Kevin McGarry appeared in the cult favorite series Being Erica from 2009?
He played Rob, a short-lived boyfriend of lead character Erica’s on-again, off-again best friend Jenny Zalen.
MUSIC TRIVIA
Did you know…
that Unleashing Mr. Darcy lead actor Ryan Paevey appeared in Christina Aguilera’s 2012 music video for her single “Your Body”?
This short appearance in that music video took place one year before he landed his 5-year run on the long-running soap opera General Hospital.
I’m hoping to bring this series of articles back so please be on the lookout for more in the future.
