Battle for the Crown: Round 4

A note from Mel: Friends, we know that a bracket tournament to determine your favorite feel good movie actor/actress isn’t the most important thing happening in the world right now. In fact, it probably ranks somewhere around Priority # 13,542. But we also know that having something “silly” to focus on now and then is important to our mental health. It is in that spirit that we continue with our quest.

Inspired by Nice Girl Rueben’s post a couple of weeks ago, we decided it would be fun to find out who viewers think are the King and Queen of Feel Good Movies.

In Round 4 we’re down to 8 contenders – 4 actors and 4 actresses – who star in some of our favorite feel good movies on Hallmark, Lifetime, Netflix, and beyond battling for the crown.

First, a few reminders:

• Obviously there are more than 32 actors and 32 actresses starring in these movies. To keep the field to 64 total, we chose performers with long histories of appearing in these types of movies and/or are memorable. We also limited the field to performers who mostly appear in lead roles.
• Winners of each bracket in Round 3 will be paired with someone who received similar votes in the next round.
• We welcome your arguments on why voters should choose specific performers in the comments!

Round 4 voting ends Saturday, March 28, 2020, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific.
