It’s Merry & Bright for Jodie Sweetin and Andrew Walker

The next holiday movie on the Hallmark Channel as part of the 10th Annual Countdown to Christmas is Merry & Bright.

As Christmas approaches, Cate (Jodie Sweetin from Fuller House and the Hallmark Channel movie Love Under the Rainbow), CEO of Merry & Bright, a small-town candy cane factory, faces the financial challenges of running a seasonal business.

Meanwhile, Gabe (Andrew Walker from the Hallmark Channel movies Bottled Wit Love and Love in Design), a New York consultant lacking in Christmas spirit, is begrudgingly tasked with saving the struggling company.

Upon his arrival in the town, Gabe meets Cate, who resents his desire to restructure her business. Though they initially clash, Cate and Gabe unexpectedly begin developing feelings for each other. When Cate tells her mother, Joy (Sharon Lawrence of NYPD Blue fame), that she intends to focus on business and not get distracted by romance, Joy urges her to follow her heart.

After Gabe convinces a major investment firm to finance Merry & Bright, Cate is thrilled. That is, until the investor and Gabe ask her to shift the focus of the factory. When Cate refuses to abandon the tradition her company was built on, she and Gabe part ways. On Christmas Eve, Cate wonders if Merry & Bright will ever find success and if she’ll ever find a holiday romance again.

Merry & Bright debuts on Hallmark Channel tonight, Saturday, November 2 at 8/7c.
