The InBetween Roundtable: Let Me in Your Window

The InBetween premiered on NBC this week and we gave it a watch. See what we had to say below.

Tom and Damien race to stop a serial pyromaniac before he can strike again. Cassie suspects there’s something evil going on with the new bartender at work. Things take a turn for Sally, Damien’s comatose girlfriend.

Join the NiceGirls staff as they discuss the episode using our new feature SASSY: S(tupid), A(wesome), S(o) S(o) and Y(our Thoughts):

STUPID

Lisa: Stupid…Hmmm. The stalker continuing to stalk the bartender after death is stupid and creepy as hell! He really gave me the shivers.

Rueben: Yeah, I have to agree, Lisa. Max, the stalker, was creepy as hell, stalking poor Andi from the grave. He “looked” so normal, but he was far from that!

Leah: I think we can all agree stalking is the winner of the award for stupid this week!

AWESOME

Lisa: I was so excited to see Molly Quinn (Castle) as the new bartender on the show. Now that her stalker ghost is gone, I hope we get to see more of her on the show. It would be good to see Cassie have a girl friend who knows about her abilities.

Rueben: I was so stoked to see Molly in this episode, being a long-time, big-time fan of Castle. We’ll have to see if they include her in more episodes of the show. I have to agree it would be nice for Cassie to have a friend – other than her best friend from high school.

Leah: I’m telling you, if I don’t get my answers in first I end up just copying what Lisa and Rueben have already said! So it’s no surprise I completely agree. Cassie could use a friend and love Molly Quinn!!

SO SO

Lisa: I thought the Sally storyline was so so. Why have Damien’s girlfriend in a coma all along and then pass away? We never knew her character. Maybe we will learn more about her in ghost form, but I just wasn’t all that crazy about that storyline. My heart broke for Damien though.

Rueben: I was a bit disappointed that they wrote Sally off like that. What was the point of including her in the storyline other than to give Damien a reason to move to Seattle. It seemed such a throwaway story.

YOUR THOUGHTS

Lisa: I have to say the creep factor on this show never disappoints. I didn’t think they could have a creepier guy than the peter rabbit singing ghost, but they did it with the stalker in this episode. When he was sniffing her hair I had chills to the bone! It was another good episode.

Rueben: OMG, yes, Lisa. You are so right! I was freaking out the closer he got to her, et al while in the bar. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

  1. I agree 100% with the dialogue given regarding InBetween. It was a creepy episode, but the actor playing the stalker was really good ( gives me the creeps to even say it). I also liked Molly from Castle. I loved Castle, so it was great seeing her. I hope she’ll be a regular on the show. Thanks, NiceGirls, your comments never disappoint.
