AGENTS OF SHIELD Roundtable: “Collision Course (Part 2)”

By  |

The next new episode of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD aired on Friday night with this rather strange synopsis:

No time for the team to play catch-up, there’s a planet to save.

Join NiceGirls Rueben, Christie and Roz as we discuss the episode, using our ratings system known as SASSY – S(tupid), A(wesome), S(o) S(o) and Y(Your Thoughts):

STUPID

Roz: What is Sarge doing? Emotion is a very dangerous thing when it comes to battle strategy. Letting Izel get the better of him was never good and didn’t help his cause at all.

KAROLINA WYDRA, IAIN DE CAESTECKER, ELIZABETH HENSTRIDGE

Christie: Daisy’s abilities can apparently stop atom bombs and blast shrike to dust now?

Also, I agree with Roz, Sarge seems like he’s such a calculating guy, and he suddenly loses his mind over this woman. And this whole Izel/Sarge feud makes no sense anyway. Izel herself makes little sense to me.

Rueben: Yeah, what is with Sarge? I agree! I just don’t get his connection to Izel let alone his connection to Coulson. We need some answers!

AWESOME

Roz: Jacko’s choice on how to take out Izel’s ship. Though we still don’t know where she is.

Christie: “Are all the females on your planet this powerful?” “They are.” That was pretty kick ass. Also, Mack bear hugging Fitz, and the look on May’s face when the team rescues them.

Rueben: I loved the Mack bear hug of Fitz, too, Christie! That was priceless. The looks that Simmons gave to Fitz when Deke was rambling on and on to his “Bobo.” I also loved that Mack said “tolja” to Sarge once he knocked him out. And Yoyo and Mack being back together, even if it’s only for that one night.

SO SO

Roz: What is Deke doing with Snowflake after all this? He’s got to get some better taste than that.

Christie: Jacko sacrificing himself seems like a waste. We were just getting to like him. We could have used him sticking around.

Oh, and Deke calling Fitz Bobo… God, so annoying.

Rueben: Yeah, I have to agree anything with Deke in this episode (and pretty much every other episode, right?) has just been boring. He and Snow make NO sense, and his saying “time to dazzle”…groan!

YOUR THOUGHTS

Roz: Where the hell did Izel go? She can’t be gone that easily and it doesn’t look like anything good can come from the button.

Christie: What a waste! We still don’t understand the whole point of Sarge and Izel. The answers better come next episode!

Rueben: What the hell caused May to shoot Sarge?! Did anyone else get the feeling that something bad was going to happen with Davis; not just him falling asleep because of exhaustion? I kept waiting for a shrike to come flying out of this mouth.
