STUPID

Melissa: Ella on drugs…I guess it had to happen on this show. Now that box is ticked so we don’t have to see it again.

Cay: This was a harder one this week, but the whole car plot, in the beginning, was kind of dumb

Lisa: Although it was very entertaining, Ella was dumb to take Molly. Taking Molly is never a good idea.

AWESOME

Melissa: I’m really enjoying how Eve is integrating with the rest of the characters. Too often a new love interest only interacts with the two other people in a love triangle which always strikes me as lazy and claustrophobic. Having Eve’s world expand to include Ella is awesome! I also really dug that Eve got to be fangirled over, even if Ella didn’t realize she’s the real Eve. And it was cool that we got to see Ella’s knowledge of cars come into play again. Nice bit of character continuity.

Cay: The whole bomb plot and the scenes in LUX –  another Maze/Dan team-up, Ella and Eve hitting it off, Chloe and Eve chatting, high Ella, Luci getting shot and facing his own possible mortality, the twist with the bomber’s wife – it was all exciting and awesome.

Lisa: Ella was so awesome in this episode. Even though it was dumb to take the drugs, it was hilarious for us to watch. As much as Ella wanted to hate Eve she ended up liking her and their scene together at Lux was pretty awesome.

SO-SO

Melissa: I don’t know if there was anything mediocre in this episode. It was pretty solid from start to finish.

Cay: Ella taking drugs seemed out of character, but it was also kind of awesome. She’s always been the rock with her strong moral compass – I hate seeing her having lost her faith so completely.

Lisa: I agree, Cay. I hate to see her lose her faith. This episode was pretty good; I really can’t think of a so-so moment.

YOUR THOUGHTS

Melissa: Loving Eve! She’s so bubbly and dark at the same time. Huge props to Inbar Lavi for so seamlessly integrating with the rest of the cast. Honestly, at this point, I feel like she’s a better fit than Chloe. Really curious to see how this season proceeds. I also liked that scene between Amenadiel and Eve, talking about Cain and Abel (Eve’s sons) and Charlotte Richards and how it was Amenadiel’s talk about free will in the Silver City that prompted Eve’s return to Earth. Solid mythology stuff!

Cay: This was my favorite episode of the season thus far. Great session with Luci and Dr. Linda. Although Luci really needs to get some sort of doorbell or privacy screen in front of the elevator or something…

Lisa: Me too! This is my favorite episode this season and I really like the addition of Eve. She has spiced up the show perfectly. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

FAVORITE LINES

“Look what came in the mail today. It’s a ME costume!” – Eve

“I mean, I *am* carrying an angel baby, so I guess this is just a normal Tuesday for me now.” – Dr. Linda

“I’m not going to text you every time someone stays the night – think of my data plan!” – Lucifer

“OH! It must be like being hugged by a muppet!” – Ella on drugs

“Shared office workspace! Even I find this a little bit cruel, torture-wise.” – Maze
