Blindspot Roundtable: Frequently Recurring Struggle for Existence

By  |

This week’s Blindspot focused on:

Jane confronts her past as the team rushes to keep a deadly weapon out of a terrorist’s grasp.

Join the NiceGirls staff as they discuss the episode using our new feature SASSY: S(tupid), A(wesome), S(o) S(o) and Y(our Thoughts):

STUPID

Cay: Dave. His sole purpose seemed to be to elicit eyerolls from the team. Oh, and another bomb plot. Sigh.

Leah: It’s a toss up for me between the never ending Shepard/Remi/Jane’s past and Zapata’s storyline. I couldn’t care less about what is dragging on and on and on with her.

Roz: I’ll take some from Cay and some from Leah today.

Rueben: It’s totally Dave for me. The way he kept posturing assured me that he wouldn’t really know what to do when faced with the weapon he had to tackle. He was horrible at undercover.

AWESOME

Cay: Not much about this episode was very awesome to me, so I’ll have to go with Rich and Patterson overall, because they are always awesome.

Leah: Rich made a game! A super interesting/intensive game with a partly melted Patterson!

Roz: That game makes me giggle because of how much interest Ashley gets from Critical Role!

Rueben: I enjoyed how excited Rich was about the board game he created, but the rest of the episode was a bit blah for me.

SO SO

Cay:Jane coming into contact with someone she used to know (and ruined) was interesting, although it wasn’t enough to get me really into this episode

Leah:Dave the bomb tech. His character was just a little, well he wasn’t funny despite his attempts at humor.

Roz: I need an episode to end on a cleaner button; we need more questions but to always drop it as the credits roll is starting to lose me.

Rueben: The hooded figure at the end who went into the Sandstorm safehouse. Can’t we just be done with all of that already?!

YOUR THOUGHTS

Cay: This episode bored me – I kept getting distracted by other things. I’m sure the FBI deals with more stuff than just bomb plots all the time, right?

Roz: How many Jane/Remy stories do we need in one episode?

Rueben: Not only do I want to see the Sandstorm storyline come to an end, but I’m sick and tired of Madeline too. It looks like that might just come to an end next week too so let’s hope that’s the case. I’d like to see Rich and Patterson out in the field again, and for there to be no more bomb plot episodes.

The next new episode of BLINDSPOT will air on Friday, March 15 at 8/7c on NBC.
