Michael McMillian Comic Book Author, Nice Girl Favorite!

Michael McMillian has long been a staple of many shows we Nice Girls love (True Blood, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), but at this point we should also pay attention to what he’s writing! A long time fan of comics (and writer of some of the True Blood comics), McMillian is writing another book that sees the hero find out he’s a secret prince to a fantasy world he thought was just his uncle’s made-up universe for his books.

It’s as crazy as it sounds!

Last month at Comic Con, Michael sat down with us and talked about his new comic, Adventure Van, which is one of the first comic books from Golden Apple Comics.

Funny, heartfelt, the book’s first issue is a great jumping off point for an epic journey with great characters all around. Below, see what McMillian had to say about the book, the female characters in the book and what he’s loved most about writing this book.
