Nominated by Rueben: Vanessa Ferlito as Tammy Gregorio on NCIS: New Orleans

Vanessa Ferlito plays Tammy Gregorio on NCIS: New Orleans. She is a tough cookie to begin with, but this week Tammy was taken by a crazed woman, who happened to be one of Tammy’s FBI profiler instructors back in the day [turns out the lady was a mass murderer, yikes!] and this woman brutalized Gregorio, nearly killing her; but Tammy fought back and was thrashing this other woman to within an inch of her life before the rest of the NCIS: New Orleans team crashed through the door to save/stop Tammy. This special agent went through hell in this week’s episode, and I have a feeling she’ll be going through a long healing process as well as a good bit of PTSD [what Tammy went through I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy]; but, like I said, she is one tough cookie to be able to withstand the torture and pain she went through and still be able to fight back.

My favorite performance this week was Rose McIver as (Mac) Liv Moore on iZombie. Rose has always been on top of her game throughout the show and we’ve seen some pretty hilarious brains this season, but watching Liv take on a rapper brain may have just taken the cake! Liv may not be the best rapper but it was fun to watch and damn that tune is catchy and stuck in my head! “Always been the baddest bitch, solvin’ the baddest murders on the daily, I got skills you wish you had. New Seattle got me shook, everywhere I look all I see is FG and all their two bit crooks…”
