TIMELESS Thoughts: Mrs. Sherlock Holmes

By  |

This week on Timeless the team, plus Flynn, headed back to the height of the suffrage movement and got some help along the way from a very unexpected person.

Leah’s Thoughts
The Good
I am so here for a message about how standing idly by while people are being abused is as bad as the people in power doing the abusing.
Also – can we talk about how much better of a fighter Flynn is that….anyone? I don’t know if he is just more ruthless or what but he took Emma down in moments where as last episode Wyatt couldn’t get the better of her. Then Rufus told Flynn to, “Flynn it up!” and that just about made me spit out my drink. Rufus and Flynn make a pretty amusing partnership.

The Bad
This is why I can’t let Roz get her comments in first. I second every single thing she said in her bad.
Come on Wyatt – are you kidding me? You don’t like the idea of Lucy and Flynn? Well I’m pretty sure Lucy doesn’t like you and Jessica doing things so loud Rufus is out in the hall congratulating you. And please spare me the, “I still care about you.” Not helpful.
Emma is doing some dirty things with Lucy’s GREAT GRANDFATHER. I don’t care that he is “young” and attractive. Not okay. Everything about him is just a big smarmy yuck!

Roz’s Thoughts
The Good
Suffregates! I’m all for watching women get their right to vote (and that last joke about the 2016 election was strong), but especially Emma’s decision to not help Rittenhouse here.

That she’s been in an abusive family relationship makes that right to not be property all the more important.

The Bad
Wyatt’s jealous streak! If you have your wife back, you can’t pine away for Lucy like she’s still only other woman you want to sleep with.

Grandpa! Oh is he gross! Kissing Emma and just being creepy.

Timeless airs Monday 10/9c on NBC
