This week on TIMELESS our Time Team takes on the 1690’sn with a visit to Salem just befor the end of the Witch Hunt. They make the acquaintance of Benjamin Frankin’s mother and a few other folks.

Leah’s Thoughts
The Good
I’m with Roz on this…Flynn is back and now he is sort of a part of the team. He has his own methods and ideas though so this should be fun. The team needs someone focused on taking down Rittenhouse who can fight and he fits the bill.
Also – again Lucy gives no f’s about changing history. She is all nonchalant about it. Makes me happy!
Oh and in the present when Rufus says something about, “A witch hunt” and Jiya wasn’t familiar with the phrase. Cracked me up.

The Bad
Damn it Wyatt! His guilt over Jessica’s death, which now never happened, is going to piss me off. I get it. He cares. They were married…blah blah blah. They didn’t have an idyllic marriage though. He needs to remember that instead of pulling her into the bunker and showing off the Lifeboat. What the ever loving……!!!!!
*this spawned a number of exclamation laden text back and forth between Roz and myself.

I swear I almost hugged my Mom after I watched this episode. Lucy’s Mom, hell her whole family, is just…ugh.

Roz’s Thoughts
The Good
Watching Flynn being part of the Time Team, and seeing how his attitude works with Lucy and Rufus. It’s not easy, but it’s a process that needs to happen sooner or later.

I love a good episode about the Salem Witches, and this also introduced us to Benjamin Franklin’s mom.

The Bad
Jessica and Wyatt. She’s back, but she’s just now a “bad” person in my mind. Wyatt is not a great husband to her, but I feel like all of this is so much for him to take in such a short time.

Lucy’s mom is the worst!

TIMELESS airs Sunday 10/9c on NBC

Roz lives in the Los Angeles area, and has been a long time California girl. Despite her better judgment, she enjoys shows about the shallow sides of her home city, but will also find time to watch iZombie, Jane the Virgin, and much more. With a love of history, she also watches anything that is grounded in real life, including Victoria and black-ish. Having worked with children, she also follows shows she knows they watch (reminding her of those days of yore for her in the process). Contact her at roz@nicegirlstv.com.
