INTERVIEW: Emily Bett Rickards discusses Arrow

We sat down with the Arrow cast this year at San Diego Comic Con to discuss last season and what’s to come this fall. It’s kind of crazy to realize that this is the third year that I’ve gotten the opportunity to meet the actors in the press room – it doesn’t get much better for an Arrow fan! Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) has always been my favorite character (although Curtis is a close second!) and she’s always great to interview.

Here are some highlights from our table:

• Felicity still does own Palmer, but obviously she was fired as CEO. She assumes that we’ll see more of Palmer tech, but she hasn’t seen it in the scripts yet
• She thinks Felicity’s father will be back this season
• She’s very excited for the 100th episode 4-way crossover, especially because it means having Melissa Benoist (Supergirl) on set because “it would be nice to have another woman around!” now that it’s down to just her and Willa Holland (since they killed off Laurel and Sara Lance).
• Felicity definitely has some emotional baggage from last season’s events, particularly the nuclear bomb that she rerouted. We won’t see her address this head-on in the first few episodes, but it will come.
