It’s time to raise your mead horns in salute of the best moments
from Vikings ‘Promise!’

1. Bjorn burns Harald!
“Fame won’t make your small kingdom any bigger” BOOM! Our young Bjorn is a lad no longer. He has returned to Kattegat a formidable man! And, did you notice
the map again? He talked about that in our interview!

2. Judith proudly declares herself the Kings Whore!
King Ecbert may not fully realize what he created in Judith by explaining the concept of freedom. His daughter -in-law is clearly enjoying her newfound liberty.
Will Ecbert come to regret his lessons?

3. Gisla & Rollo United!
Who would have believed Gisla could be so loving toward the man she once called ‘Monster!’  Did you see her making doe eyes at Rollo and of course the Viking gave some smouldering stares of his own. Congratulations Morgane Polanski!

4. Yidu’s Eunuch Talk left me in HYSTERICS!
This scene alone was worth the price of admission. Our curious Viking Ragnar discovers far more than he ever wanted about China from Yidu when she explains what makes a eunuch. I am going to be giggling over that exchange for days!
Y: Men who are not men.
R: Why are they not men?
Y: Their manhood was cut off.
R: I don’t like that
Y: They didn’t like it either

5. Floki’s new course in
“How to Win Friends and Influence People” Pays off!
Watch the scene below and you will understand! Did you see the look on Helga’s face? She is the only sane one of the bunch!

6. THE BATH SCENE
Dianne Doan and Travis Fimmel were hotter than seven hells in this scene and no amount of words can accurately describe Rangars’ seduction of Yidu. It must be experienced to be fully understood. Suffice it to say I suddenly found myself in DIRE need of a bath and a cigarette! Dianne told us their relationship would be special,
but this is historic!

7. Ivar needs a TIME OUT!
“It’s not your fault. Everything is alright.”  The real Ivar was reportedly uniquely brutal and unforgiving. It seems our tiny Viking lad started his reign of terror at quite a young age thanks to Floki and the Queen. Mommy Dearest can’t hold a candle to Aslag when it comes to enabling! Someone should have read Silversteins ‘ The Giving Tree’  to the tot.

8. Kalf’s BIG SURPRISE
When Kalf said “Lagertha must never know what we did.” We all knew it was only a matter of time before she found out he conspired to kill her son Bjorn. The Shield Maiden was less than forgiving and came up with an especially creative way to murder Kalf. On his Wedding Day at the altar!
