VIDEO! Nice Boy Of The Week: MANU BENNETT

Manu Bennett is an New Zeland actor of Maori descent who is best known for portrayal of the Gallic gladiator Crixus in the popular Starz series Spartacus. Manu is also known as Azog the Defiler in The Hobbit, villain Deathstroke in Arrow and most recently as Allanon in the new MTV series The Shannara Chronicles based on the book series by Terry Brooks.

Manu has an amazing presence on the screen which allows him to bring larger than life characters to life with breathtaking results. Peter Jackson, Director of  The Hobbit stated Manu was “the breakout performance’ of the film. And, while we couldn’t agree more, check out the video below to hear how author Terry Brooks, knew Manu was right for Allanon.
