MANHATTAN: Creative Teams Discuss Second Season

By  |

As mentioned yesterday, WGN America happily invited me and many other journalists out to Santa Fe, New Mexico to look at the Manhattan set, meet with the cast and crew and get a brief look into the second season as they were wrapping principle production in July.

The journalists were all treated to watching the second episode, “Fatherland” before talking to anyone involved in the show. As a result, I’ve held off on publishing these until the episode aired to avoid any obvious spoilers.

Below you’ll find the exclusive interviews with science and history consultants David Satlzburg and Alex Wallerstein, set designer Ruth Ammon, and executive producer and creator Sam Shaw and executive producer and director Thomas Schlamme.

Ruth Ammon talks about what it takes to create the world of Manhattan.

Scientific Consultant David Saltzburg and Historical Consultant Alex Wellerstein talk about their work with the WGN Amercia Series Manhattan.

Thomas Schlamme, Executive Producer, and Show Creator Sam Shaw talk about Manhattan’s Second Season.

Come back tomorrow for the cast’s look at the start of this season.

Manhattan airs on WGN America at 9PM Eastern, 8PM Central.
