HEROES REBORN: Masi Oka on Hiro’s Return

Heroes Reborn kicks off a new story arc when it premieres September 24, but we’ll be seeing several familiar faces along with the new. NBC brought a few of those face along to Comic Con in July, and I had the opportunity to catch up with them and get the scoop on the new series.

Masi Oka reprises his role as fan favorite Hiro Nakamura during three episodes of the new series before returning to his regular role on Hawaii Five-0. In the video below, Masi teases his first scene – “it’s very cool” – and previews a more mature Hiro who has been running the family business for the past five years. But what brings him out of “hero” retirement? And where’s Endo?

Heroes Reborn premieres Thursday, September 24 at 8/7c on NBC.
