HEROES REBORN: Ryan Guzman & Joanna Shekoni preview new series

Heroes Reborn kicks off a new story arc when it premieres September 24, but we’ll be seeing several familiar faces along with the new. NBC brought a few of those face along to Comic Con in July, and I had the opportunity to catch up with them and get the scoop on the new series.

Ryan Guzman and Judith Shekoni made the rounds together, talking about their respective characters as well as answering the (oft-asked but not by me) question of what superpowers they would choose. The pair seemed to have good chemistry, which begs the question of whether their characters interact much on the show. Ryan plays Carlos Gutierrez, a former military man grappling with PTSD, while Judith plays Joanne Collins, wife of Zachary Levi’s character, Luke Collins, and a vigilante out to avenge the death of her son.
