Web Series Spotlight: Spooked

By  |

A new web series called Spooked from Bad Hat Harry, the production company of acclaimed filmmaker Bryan Singer, and Geek & Sundry, the digital entertainment company that was spearheaded by Felicia Day (Supernatural, The Guild and Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog) and Wil Wheaton (Star Trek) [among others], will debut on April 16 on Hulu, Hulu Plus and YouTube.

Spooked follows the Paranormal Investigation Team (P.I.T.) as they investigate phenomena at haunted locations across the country. The web series will feature the unpredictable, horrific and often comedic world of P.I.T. as they find themselves dealing with ghosts, aliens and other unexplainable happenings.

The main cast of Spooked consists of Julian Curtis (the upcoming 2015 film Captured) as Connor; Ashley Johnson (Growing Pains, The Killing and Ben 10) as Morgan; Derek Mio (Greek) as Elliot; Neil Grayston (Eureka) as Lindsey and Shyloh Oostwald (the film In Time) as Piper.

There are four weekly 22-minute episodes planned for Season one directed by Richard Martin (who worked on the web series H+) and written by relative newcomer Michael Gene Conti.

The special guest stars will include Dichen Lachman (Dollhouse and the short-lived King & Maxwell), Tom Lenk (The Cabin in the Woods and Witches of East End), Alison Haislip (Attack of the Show!) and veteran actor Richard Riehle.

You can get more information at Geek & Sundry and watch Spooked on YouTube and Hulu.

Again, Spooked will debut on April 16 at 10 AM (Pacific) and 1 PM (Eastern) on Hulu, Hulu Plus and You Tube.
