It’s Official: PSYCH to End After 8 Seasons

I think a lot of PSYCH fans have seen this coming for a while, but USA just made it official: the series will end on Wednesday, March 26 at 9/8c, after eight delightfully quirky seasons.

The series finale will be followed at 10/9c by the “PSYCH After Show,” a one-hour live show featuring a Q&A with the entire cast and show creator, Steve Franks.  The moderated discussion will take place in front of a studio audience in Los Angeles.

USA is sending the fan favorite out on top, in my opinion. After a bit of a dry spell a couple of years ago, seasons 7 and 8 have been pretty darn good. There are some things that need to be resolved by the end though. On my list: everyone needs to know Shawn isn’t truly psychic; Shawn and Juliette’s relationship needs resolution (I hope with them together); and Gus needs to find true love.
