Today’s Women Behind the Scenes spotlight is shone on movie and TV series producer KristieAnne Reed.

KristieAnne got her start in the movie industry, working as a production assistant to Marty Katz, the producer of the Ellen DeGeneres-led 1996 box office film Mr. Wrong. That same year she worked as an assistant production coordinator on the Damon Wayans- and Adam Sandler-led movie Bulletproof.

One year later she was the assistant production coordinator on the box office film Con Air, putting her on the same creative team as Jerry Bruckheimer. That following year she worked as an executive assistant to Bruckheimer on the box office films Armageddon and Enemy of the State.

In 2000, she worked as the executive in charge of production on the box office films Gone in Sixty Seconds, Coyote Ugly and Remember the Titans. She held that same position in 2001 in the box office films Black Hawk Down and Pearl Harbor; and then two years later she was the executive in charge of production on Bad Boys II. It was that same year that she worked as an associate producer on the box office film Kangaroo Jack. And then in 2004, she was executive in charge of production on the box office film National Treasure.

It was in 2006 that she shifted gears, moving over to the small screen starting with the short-lived series Justice for which she worked as a consulting producer. The following TV season she worked as a consulting producer on the short-lived series Eleventh Hour.

Throughout 2009 she worked as a co-executive producer on the short-lived series The Forgotten and the two-seasons-long Dark Blue. It was one year later that she worked as a co-executive producer on the short-lived series Miami Medical as well as the two other short-lived shows: The Whole Truth and Chase. In 2011, she worked as a co-executive producer on the game show Take the Money & Run.

This year she was the executive producer on the failed pilot Secret Lives of Husbands and Wives as well as the failed pilot Trooper; but she is now the co-executive producer on the new CBS drama Hostages that just debuted on September 23.

KristieAnne is also a wife and mother, living in Los Angeles, who can be followed on Twitter @kristieannereed.
