LAST TANGO IN HALIFAX: Episode 3 Synopsis Features a Haunted Hall

I hope you are enjoying PBS’s showing of Last Tango in Halifax as much as I am. In the third episode, Alan and Celia finally decide on a place to hold their wedding ceremony but it may include an uninvited guest. Meanwhile the girls are dealing with the fallout from their own troubles.

Episode Description: Celia and Alan decide on a civil ceremony at Southowram Hall, a creepy Medieval Hall near Halifax. A storm is brewing as they visit the hall, and as Alan tells Celia about a ghost in one of the bedrooms, the lights go out, and they find themselves locked in the ancient building. After a supportive chat with Gillian, John tells Caroline he’s moving back in whether she likes it or not. Meanwhile, Paul confirms to Gillian that he told Raff he was sleeping with her. Later Paul is beaten up a second time. The episode ends in a thunderstorm with Gillian’s Land Rover inexplicably catching fire.
