Dexter: 32 Shocking Finale Predictions

Warning: This article contains major spoilers. If you have not yet watched season 8 episode 10 of Dexter, do not read any further.

Anticipation builds as we cross the threshold into the final two episodes of the Showtime hit series Dexter. Fans have one burning question: How will the final showdown commence? At this point, anything goes and anyone could die.

Taking a look back on season 8 thus far, we can deduce a number of spoilery endings that are equally plausible.  We can rule out the likelihood of a happy ending. So where does that leave us? Dexter could finally get caught, get killed or maybe even commit suicide. Let’s explore the facts before we speculate.

Here are a few things that might come into play in the final episode of Dexter:

1. Harrison’s bloody stuffed animal that links Dexter to the Briggs crime scene.
2. Deputy Chief Mathews is investigating the whereabouts of the newly deceased Zach Hamilton.
3. Quinn still holds a grudge for not being awarded the promotion to Lieutenant.
4. Angel Batista still has investigation material that incriminates Dexter.
5. U.S. Marshall Cooper is hot on Hannah McKay’s trail.
6. Oliver Saxon is still at large.
7. Elway now holds possession of Deb Morgan’s investigative notes.

With so many loose ends that still need to be tied off in this intense and hard hitting series, it is hard to tell what direction executive producers have decided to take. If I had to speculate, I’d be more than willing to bet we are in for one epic finale and not everyone will be happy with the outcome.
