The following list provides the dates of the season or series finales for the major and cable network dramas, the return of one summer drama and the debut of one new major network show as well as the debut of some new mini-series and made-for-TV movies airing this month:

May 1 – The season finale of The Americans will air on FX at 10 PM

May 3 – Merlin will be back on Syfy at 10 PM

NOTE: The final 5 episodes will air consecutively throughout the entire month starting tonight.

May 4 – The Hallmark Channel film Mr. Hockey: The Gordie Howe Story will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Based on the true story of legendary hockey player Gordie Howe, to be played by Michael Shanks (Stargate: SG-1), who, at age 45, returned to the ice after his retirement for the opportunity to play professional hockey and win a championship with his sons. His wife Colleen will be played by Kathleen Robertson (Beverly Hills 90210).

May 5 – The season finale of The Mentalist will air on CBS at 10 PM

May 5 – Red Widow will air its season finale on ABC at 10 PM

May 7 – Hart of Dixie will air its season finale on The CW at 8 PM

May 9 – The season finale of Glee will air on FOX at 9 PM

May 9 – Person of Interest will air its season finale on CBS at 9 PM

May 10 – The season finales of Vegas and Blue Bloods will air on CBS at 9 and 10 PM respectively

May 10 – FOX will air the season finale of Touch at 9 PM

May 11 – The Hallmark Channel original movie Beverly Lewis’ The Confession will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Based on the novel by Beverly Lewis, the film will star Katie Leclerc (Switched at Birth) as Katie Lapp, an innocent young Amish woman who has ventured out of her small Lancaster community for the first time after a painful incident led to her “shunning” from the very township that raised her. She takes on the unfamiliar outside world in the attempt to track down her birth mother, Laura Mayfield-Bennett (Sherry Stringfield), a wealthy and generous woman who is dying of cancer. The cast includes Adrian Paul (Highlander) and Julie Whelan (Once and Again).

May 12 – Once Upon a Time will air its season finale at 8 PM on ABC followed by the two-hour season finale of Revenge at 9 PM

May 13 – A special 90210 retrospective will air on The CW at 8 PM followed by the series finale of the show at 9 PM

May 13 – Castle will air its season finale on ABC at 10:01 PM

May 14 – NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles and Golden Boy will all air their season finales on CBS at 8, 9 and 10 PM respectively

May 15 – Both season finales of Arrow and Supernatural will air at 8 and 9 PM respectively on The CW

May 15 – The season finale of CSI will air at 10 PM on CBS

May 16 – The season finales of The Vampire Diaries and Beauty And the Beast will air on The CW at 8 and 9 PM respectively

May 16 – Elementary will air it season finale on CBS at 10 PM

May 16 – The season finales of Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal will air on ABC at 9 and 10 PM respectively

May 17 – Nikita will air its season finale at 8 PM on The CW

May 18 – The season finale of Doctor Who will air on BBC America at 8 PM

May 19 – The Billboard Music Awards will air on ABC at 8 PM

May 20 – Hawaii Five-0 will air its season finale on CBS at 10 PM

May 20 – The series finale of The Big C will air on Showtime at 10 PM

May 20 – The new ABC series Motive will debut at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: When murder is committed, Angie Flynn (Kristin Lehman from The Killing), a loving, single mother and a damned good detective, along with her partner, Detective Oscar Vega (Louis Ferreira from Stargate Universe), are on the case, looking for clues that will lead them to the killer. The series cast includes Lauren Holly (NCIS), Roger Cross (24 and Continuum) and Cameron Bright (The Twilight Saga franchise).

NOTE: This new series will movie to its regular time period on May 23 at 9 PM.

May 21 – The season finale of Grimm will air on NBC at 10 PM

May 22 – NBC will air the two-hour season finale of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit at 9 PM

May 22 – Nashville will air its season finale on ABC at 10 PM

May 22 – Criminal Minds will air its two-hour season finale on CBS at 9 PM

May 22 – Chicago Fire will air its season finale on NBC at 10 PM

May 23 – The summer series Rookie Blue will have its season premiere on ABC at 10 PM

May 26 – Smash will air its two-hour series finale on NBC at 9 PM

May 26 – Behind the Candelabra, the movie about pianist extraordinaire Liberace, will air on HBO at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: This movie is based on the autobiographical novel of the same name that chronicles the tempestuous 6-year relationship between Liberace (Michael Douglas) and his (much younger) lover, Scott Thorson (Matt Damon). The cast includes Debbie Reynolds, Rob Lowe, Dan Aykroyd, Scott Bakula, Paul Reiser and Cheyenne Jackson

May 27 – The Lifetime movie Ring of Fire will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Singer Jewel stars as June Carter Cash in this heartfelt telling of the famous singer’s life from her early beginnings in the rural mountains of Virginia to her turbulent, yet enduring marriage to Johnny Cash (Matt Ross from American Horror Story). The cast includes Frances Conroy (Six Feet Under) and John Doe (Roswell).

May 27 – The Glades and Longmire will return for their back-to-back season premieres on A&E at 9 and 10 PM respectively

May 27 – The new VH1 series Hit The Floor will debut at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: The series follows the alluring lives and loves of the Los Angeles Devil Girls, the premier dance team in all of professional basketball. The cast includes Dean Cain (Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman), Kimberly Elise (Close to Home) and Charlotte Ross (NYPD Blue) and features Logan Browning (Meet the Browns) and newcomer Taylour Paige.

May 28 – ABC will air the season finale of Body of Proof at 10:01 PM

May 29 – Psych will air its season finale on the USA Network at 10 PM

May 31 – The Hallmark Channel movie Space Warriors will debut in May at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Jimmy Hawkins (Thomas Horn from Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close), the son of a retired NASA astronaut (Dermot Mulroney) who lived on the International Space Station, makes his dreams of traveling to outer space come true when he competes to win a seat on the next space shuttle. The cast also includes Danny Glover, Josh Lucas and Mira Sorvino.
