Sarah Shahi Lands Recurring Role on CHICAGO FIRE

TVLine reports that Sarah Shahi has landed a recurring role on NBC’s Chicago Fire. She’ll appear in at least six episodes as Renee Royce, a successful business woman and love interest for Taylor Kinney’s Lt. Kelly Severide.

While I’m happy to see Sarah’s talent being noticed, what does this mean for her USA Network series, Fairly Legal? After struggling in its first two seasons, the show is currently on hiatus and hasn’t been renewed for a third season. Is this a sign that Reed & Reed are no more?
