DALLAS: The Last Hurrah

We begin with John Ross and JR discussing their plan to bring down Mitch. They know that his son is the sore spot. JR found out that his son never got his act together and has 2 felonies on his record. JR and John Ross are determined to set him up with a third felony so he can go to jail. Three strikes and you are out.

John Ross calls Rebecca and suggests they meet up to talk about the infamous email she sent to Elena that broke her and Chris up.

JR did some digging and found out the scoop on the fake Marta Del Sol. Her real name is Veronica Martinez and she is all kinds of crazy. She is bi-polar and was arrested for stalking 2 of her ex-boyfriends (John Ross better watch out). He informs his private investigator that John Ross and Veronica are involved and tells him he should know what to do.

JR pays Sue Ellen a visit to give her a good luck charm (a pearl necklace) for her campaign. Cliff stops by to offer Sue Ellen political advice over lunch, and JR is not happy about it. He attempts to ask her about it and she told him he lost his right to speak on who she lunches with a long time ago (Tell him Sue Ellen)!

Rebecca meets with John Ross and she denies sending the email. He gave her a copy of the email that was traced back to her IP address (busted). She swears she didn’t send it. He tells her if she gets pictures of Mitch’s son doing drugs, he won’t tell Chris about the email.

Elena and John Ross go to visit Mrs. Henderson because Elena believes there is oil on the land. John Ross gets a call from the crazy Marta (Veronica) and he ignores it. He starts throwing water and playing with Elena. They flirt and JR’s private investigator takes pictures of them hugging and laughing and then calls JR to let him know he finally got something on his son (scandalous)!

John Ross and Elena visit Sue Ellen to discuss their business. Sue Ellen tried to warn John Ross about JR and questioned if he really is a changed man. John Ross sticks up for his Dad but Sue Ellen is right to be concerned.

Bobby and Chris are in a barn with a cow in labor. Chris tells his dad the whole story about Elena and the email she got. He told Bobby that John Ross sent the email to break them up. He has conflicted feelings and it is awkward for him to have his wife and ex-fiancée in such close corners. Bobby told him he has to make a choice between the two of them.

Rebecca goes to an AA meeting where Mitch’s son is the leader. She told him she had a tough day and asked if he wanted to go somewhere to talk (for someone who supposedly didn’t send the email, she sure knows how to plot to get those pictures).

JR tells his private investigator that when the time is right, he plans to get crazy Marta/Veronica madder than a hornet’s nest. He hopes Elena invites John Ross to the Last Hurrah BBQ at Southfork later that day.

John Ross comes home to find crazy Marta/Veronica pissed off in his apartment. She has been waiting for him and he didn’t answer her calls. She claims to forgive him but she had a crazy look in her eye.

Rebecca is in the car with Mitch’s son and she’s trying to get him to do drugs with her. Being the good sponsor he is, he tells her that doing drugs will not solve her problems. After seeing what a nice guys he was she felt guilty and went home to find her brother there. He found out she never installed the software on Chris’ computer and asked why she was protecting him. He wants to steal Chris’ patent and copy the family files to find something to exploit them with. Wow! These two are after money and Chris is the target.

Crazy Marta/Veronica takes John Ross to look at watches since he can’t seem to keep track of time. Rebecca calls and breaks the news that she could not get the pictures and he threatens to tell Chris the truth about the email if she doesn’t follow through by the next day. He then tells crazy Marta/Veronica the situation and she promises to get the pictures for him in the morning. She then tells him to come over and celebrate in the afternoon, but he better not be late (woo…she is crazy)!

Sue Ellen came over to Southfork to have lunch with JR. He asked about her meeting with Cliff and she told him that he wanted to help fund her campaign. JR warned her bout Cliff but she was more interested in what JR wanted with her. He claims all he wants is a fresh start but she is hesitant to believe him.

Chris pays Elena a visit and gives her a check for $20,000 to cover her participation in his project. He wanted to make sure she didn’t come back in a couple of years to try to claim ownership. Because she has gone into business with John Ross, he claims it is clear to him that she will compromise herself for money and he stormed out (wow, didn’t see that coming). Elena then sends John Ross a text asking if he would be her date for the BBQ. Then John Ross texts Rebecca and tells her he will be at the BBQ and she should have done what he asked of her.

JR pays crazy Marta/Veronica a visit and gives her the pictures of John Ross and Elena and she is upset. She shows JR the pictures she got of Mitch’s son for John Ross. JR compliments her and says that John Ross didn’t know what he had in a woman like her. Then he offered to make a new deal for Southfork with her (Wow! That is dirty).

JR goes to see Mitch and shows him the pictures of his son off the wagon. He warns Mitch that if the photos got into the hands of the law his son would go straight to jail. He instructs Mitch to draw up a new contact that gives Southfork to him 100 percent. He wants John Ross cut out completely.

At the big BBQ, Bobby makes a nice goodbye speech and tells everyone to celebrate Southfork Ranch. Fearing John Ross, Rebecca tells Chris she has to talk to him. They go to the stables and he tells her that he loves her. She hesitantly brings up the email that Elena got 2 years ago that broke them up. She starts to tell him and he looks at her in the eyes and…..that was THE END!!!! AH!

Really? Now we have to wait to find out if she is going to tell Chris about the email. Wow! So what did you think about the episode?
