COMMUNITY: Digital Estate Planning; The First Chang Dynasty; Introduction to Finality
Really late recaps mean that so much of what I could say about some other news with this show might color the recap. You’ve all been warned now. I mean, I love this show, and I’ll keep watching, even if the man whose vision created it isn’t running the show. More on that later. Maybe.
Cornelius’ assistant is the newspaper man from Once Upon a Time, but that’s just one thing. Pierce wanted a video game in the 70s and his dad actually made him one to play after he died. That’s pretty cool in my book.
I want this theme song!
Annie, how do you get killed by sex so quickly? But I do love that Jeff tried to save you. What the hell is this game? Troy, please stop jumping so much.
This video game is the way for Pierce to get his inheritance. That’s pretty cruel. They want to cooperate and not compete, Gilbert. He’s the one to know how to works, and I’m sure he wants Pierce’s money in the end.
Britta, you’re so bad at being a friend at times. I mean, you kill Pierce instead of hugging him. Of course!
I want more of Abed and Hilda. She’s adorable and has lots of knowledge. Annie killed a bad guy. Shirley got even more violent. Poor Hilda lost her parents to Annie and Shirley.
Britta, what was in that potion you made? Oh, no matter, it killed Gilbert.
Abed’s going to stay in the village with Hilda. That’s so cute of him. Well, really like him.
Giant turkeys in the Black Cave? What the hell Mr Hawthorne?
There’s something I didn’t see coming! Gilbert’s Pierce’s half-brother.
Abed’s turned that little village into a dynasty. That is amazing, and so crazy, but so very Abed.
Will Gilbert actually agree to that demand? No, he won’t. So now the Castle is destroyed and Mr Hawthorne is a minotaur. Troy and Abed shoot lava to kill him. I like it. Pierce managed to create a nuclear bomb to kill his dad in this game.
Gilbert gets to be the man of the family. They’re going to get drunk on yard long margaritas! Pierce is going to be more offensive with Gilbert now.
Lastly, Abed gets Hilda again. I’d draw little hearts around them, but that feels odd.
Troy and Abed continue to be the most adorable friends ever. That kid won’t like it if Abed is away all the time and Troy only cries. But nevermind, it’s not to be.

I’m so not sure how this episode flows out from the last one, but that isn’t normally a huge problem.
This video is creepy, no one ever looks that happy at Greendale. But when the Security guard doesn’t believe them, I don’t have too much hope.
Deanoganger? Or something else. Wow. That name is odd and creepy, even for the show.
Chang’s new officers on campus are quite scary. No lie. The prescription throne, and firing custodial workers.
Troy, why are you looking towards the AC Repair School? I suppose that it’s good that this one guy is laying out the whole plan. Especially after watching poor Dean Pelton with a doll Jeff and debates about sandwiches. Chang’s got the keys to Dean Pelton and Troy might have to give up and be part of the AC Repair school for the sake of saving the Dean.
Elaborate heist wins over Troy giving his soul to the AC Repair School. Now this feels like Leverage.
Chang’s gift by the Superintendents are so cheesy. This now really does feel like Leverage with the cake, Annie underneath. Troy and Abed as plumbers, oh wow. That’s crazy. Britta’s seducing the kids over Facebook. (Gross and hilarious!) Why does Pierce feel like Hardison here: always in the van?
Britta and Jeff as the magician that looks like Criss Angel. Oh my lord! Why is Pierce still dress as the Schwammie? Oh no! This really is like Leverage now. I really do love this. Wait, but Chang got it figured out in the end. I’m not on board with this.
Wow, Dean Pelton didn’t pay his rent. What a non-sequitor. But Troy manages to get what he needs from the AC repair school. Renting out the school for raves on the weekend is now the best idea I’ve heard from Dean Pelton. That wired explosive didn’t work, which is good. But really a light saber fight? Or almost.
Dean Pelton will sit on the news about Chang because he does care about Greendale.
Troy please don’t leave for the AC Repair School! These goodbyes are going to make me a little weepy. When did Britta get some creepy that she’ll give Troy some of her hair?
Don’t talk at a rave, Dean Pelton! That’s just wrong.

Troy’s still off at AC Repair School, Britta misses him, and Abed’s hold up in the apartment not using the Dreamitorium for imaginative dreamcapes. This is all wrong for a finale. All wrong.
This is all in Summer School, and Jeff needs to finish. Pierce and Shirley need to figure out how to solve this problem. Britta’s going to give Abed a therapy session. This can’t end well at all.
It really can’t be good when evil!Abed shows up too.
Troy misses his friends from the other side of Greendale, and he doesn’t want to repair just AC units but men, too.
Smart people don’t go bad, evil!Abed. I don’t like where this is going at all.
The Vice-Dean is dead now. I’ll take a moment of silence for him.
But what I’m more worried about is that Jeff’s old friend from the law firm is representing Pierce in the case between he and Shirley.
Oh wow, that darkest timeline is really bad. It’s been so very much Britta’d by everything.
The new Vice-Dean is releasing Troy from the AC Repair School.
Jeff’s friend Allen is just being cruel to Shirley. That’s just all wrong.
Evil!Abed is getting Britta into a darker timeline for everyone here. This really can’t be good for anyone.
Jeff’s plan to get people to hate Pierce might have worked. I really hope it did.
Troy’s going to challenge the new Vice-Dean into the Sun Chamber. Is that the best decision? Troy, why aren’t you working on fixing that unit?
Evil!Abed can’t get the saw to cut off Jeff’s arm, but I still think something bad is about to come. Jeff’s ending speech about never knowing the truth, just as the Vice-Dean admits to killing off his successor. Troy also manages to do something good for the Vice-Dean. Good is winning out over evil and the beard and mustache go?
Britta’s still getting blocked by Abed in her love of Troy. Or maybe not as much.
Shirley’s shop looks good. Starburns lives! I think there’s something else there I should have picked up on, but I was too busy worrying about Chang hiding in the vents and the guy from that other Community College looking at Greendale like it’s a prized pig.
What is that guy doing in Leonard’s video? Why is Leonard living with someone who looks like a rastafarian?
